Zix Corporation sells electronic prescribing software for health care systems and physician practices.I was the lead consultant responsible for the implementation and support of over 60 electronic healthcare prescribing systems. My clients included several 230 plus bed hospitals.

I began my 15 years tenure at EDS when it acquired Appex, the wireless billing and clearing company that provided services to cellular carriers.I started out as a technical trainer, analyzing wireless telecom software to develop a support architecture and technical training for software engineers.Over the years my responsibilities grew significantly. I consulted in over a dozen nations in Eastern and Western Europe, Asia and the Pacific Rim and North and South America in support of the division and our clients. I set up the infrastructure for global centers of expertise for EDS's wireless telecommunications division by setting up a program for resource management, which provided training and developed local talent to create teams dedicated to marketing, customer service, project teams, implementation teams and technical support. In each of these countries EDS was usually one of two or three market players and we frequently controlled at least half of the wireless telecommunications market.After I finished launching our global support structures, I moved into a leadership position in our domestic operations division. I was the senior leader responsible for the U.S. support center teams in the areas of business planning, resource management, financial oversight, risk management, software development, customer service and a local operations centers. I was the internal program sponsor for implementation of EDS's CMM process improvement throughout our U.S. operations.
