I’m an Adelaide based video editor and videographer, currently studying a Bachelor of Digital Media to further my skills and gain more experience in both video and related digital graphics fields. I have had a great interest in creative endeavours all my life, exploring a variety of mediums from writing to performance, and visual art. I’ve found true passion in video editing as it allows me to combine creative technical skills with the art of storytelling.It would not be an exaggeration to say that I live to create, it is the thing I am most passionate about and love to spend my time doing. Whilst I enjoy all forms and topics of creative storytelling, as a disabled queer creator I have special interest in social justice and telling the less mainstream but no less important stories. I strongly believe that all stories are worth telling and that everyone deserves to feel seen. Just as I believe that everyone deserves human rights and equality.Through my Diploma in Screen and Media (Film and Television Production), I’ve developed skills in assembling raw footage, reordering sequences, colour correction, sound mixing and editing for fast turnaround to name a few. I’m proficient at editing in both DaVinci Resolve & Adobe Premier Pro and have some experience in sound mixing with Avid Pro Tools.Whilst thus far, I only have experience in editing student productions within my studies, I am enthusiastic about contributing to bigger scale productions, completing each project to the highest quality with client satisfaction in mind. I’m a quick learner and motivated to grow and excel in any part of the industry I am given the privilege to work in. When given the opportunity to work on a creative task I put my everything into making something I can be proud of.In between my casual job and studies, I am actively working with the SA/NT branch of Amnesty International on a campaign we are yet to make public, regarding improving the lives of transgender people living in our state.
