Job Responsibilities • Responsible for the IT operations within KBC-IT, which includes both IT infrastructure and IT work at the KBC-IT. • Lead employees within KBC-IT by coordinating and planning IT support and IT assistance for staff, ensuring that incoming IT issues are handled with high quality by the personnel within the KBC-IT group. • Responsible for planning, development, and follow-up of IT work. • Responsible for planning and execution of joint IT projects within KBC-IT. • Responsible for the budget regarding the purchase/procurement of IT equipment, as well as planning, prioritization, and follow-up on investments and infrastructure initiatives. Prepare budget documentation for cost allocations. • Provide IT expertise in various working groups addressing IT issues, such as infrastructure councils, collaboration projects, and workplace meetings. • Represent IT in strategic councils and be responsible for coordinating and implementing various work efforts, e.g., providing documentation for strategic decisions.

His experience extends to the manufacturing industry with Volvo Trucks, Volvo IT, IT system development and maintenance, Umeå El & VVS Automation contracting and system automation, Aptum, Quality and Competence Assurance, Teknikhuset System Development, Wise Online Services system development, and Dugga Learning Assessment, a digital system for municipalities, schools, and universities.Fredrik holds a degree in Business Administration and Systems Science, a degree in Work and Organizational Psychology, and is a Certified Leadership Coach. He has also completed university courses in project management, focusing on projects, organization, and governance, as well as RUP, Lean Management, Kanban, and SCRUM training through employers.

Fredrik worked as a manager with responsibilities for operations and personnel. Since the laboratory lacked project managers and business developers on staff, these tasks naturally became part of Fredrik’s duties. Fredrik has a background as a project manager and has worked with business development. The business development work involved improving and digitizing workflows and methods, as well as implementing new digital systems. In his role as unit manager, Fredrik’s responsibilities included supporting and leading change processes to achieve the desired outcomes of business development. Fredrik had personnel responsibility for 65 employees, conducted ongoing employee evaluations, and handled various conflicts between different work groups, individuals, and professional roles.It was important to Fredrik to work closely with operations to be involved in daily activities while maintaining an understanding of the broader perspective, both for the staff and for the laboratory’s mission as a service organization for all hospital departments and health centers in Jämtland Härjedalen. Together with the management team, Fredrik developed the laboratory’s strategic roadmap, including investments and business development initiatives.Due to Fredrik’s IT background, it was natural for him to become familiar with the various systems upon which daily operations depend. All systems and instruments/robots are interconnected and, in turn, output results to a patient records system, Cosmic. In response to Covid-19, Fredrik conducted a system mapping together with representatives from the operation, in preparation for the procurement of new analysis robots. This system mapping included two large robots, preparation instruments, analysis methods, work routines, system integration with existing architecture, and training for relevant personnel.

Fredrik worked as a Customer Success Manager with responsibilities in customer management and project leadership. Dugga’s offering is a digital product and service targeting schools and universities, which often have complex IT environments with a large number of users. Dugga’s system is integrated with multiple learning platforms, but in cases where existing integrations with the customer’s platform were lacking, integration projects were organized. Fredrik was responsible for leading these integration projects and overseeing functionality testing. The role required a deep understanding of the customer’s complex IT environment and large user base. Fredrik worked closely with the customer, ensuring they received appropriate training to become independent users of the system at an early stage. The digital transition from manual methods meant that the customer moved from using printed documents to managing the same operations fully digitally within Dugga’s system, both for teachers and students.

Fredrik founded the start-up company TakeVenture, an online travel and adventure magazine. He collaborated with numerous freelance journalists, and together they produced travel reports from around the world. Fredrik handled client bookings, travel arrangements, photography, filming, writing, interviews, editing, web publishing, and sales.

Fredrik is a trained leadership coach and has worked with business development and agile methods for companies, as well as personal development for individuals. The goal has been to create an understanding of, and clarity around, the organization’s current state, and to clearly define what is intended to be achieved through a change process. Fredrik has contributed by identifying key factors that form the basis for a development plan with milestones and final goals. An important aim for Fredrik has been to demonstrate the benefits that the change can bring to the organization as a whole.

Fredrik worked as COO, Chief Operation Officer, with personnel responsibility. His duties included coordinating all ongoing projects as well as leading his own. A key aspect of his role was to allocate available resources to the right projects at the right time, as the same resource could be involved in multiple projects simultaneously but at different stages. The company was a product owner, which meant that projects involved both in-house development and web and system development on behalf of clients. This required him to gather requirements and translate them into project directives. Fredrik coordinated the projects, followed up, and ensured that projects were delivered according to agreements and on time.

Fredrik worked with project management, web development, decision support systems, SharePoint, ongoing contacts with government agencies and municipalities, sales, and communication with new and existing clients. He frequently worked with government agencies to gather their specific requirements. Based on these requirements, he established project directives and led the projects from inception to delivery.

Fredrik worked as a Team Leader for a large-scale, comprehensive IT platform migration for Volvo Trucks in Umeå. He was responsible for planning and executing the platform migration in stages across the entire factory, overseeing administration, personnel management, communication with all factory departments, coordination, and internal communication. The project was a global initiative for Volvo Trucks, meaning Fredrik led one of several teams involved in the migration. This required close collaboration between teams and ensuring his own team met the project timelines.
