A strategic and operational role where you and your international team of technical project managers takes the global responsibility for current and future production technology of light incontinence, medical device classified, products.Based on business innovation and cost needs, technology shifts or upgrades are defined and executed by this team, always in a cross functional project set-up with other stakeholders. To set the direction, close co-operation is needed with business leaders as well as R&D and production sites.You are part of the Technology leadership team and have full responsibility for your team members including budget, competence development and recruitment. You also drive the development and implementation of internal procedures to simplify the technology changes.The role also owns and manage the technical relationship with external partners/suppliers delivering technology, to secure development of their technology as well as their way of working to fulfil future needs.

Strategic role within the global PMO with the responsibility to drive development and implementation of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) methodology within the company. This included both work processes, IT support system as well as resource management. As a project portfolio manager, I was providing business management teams with portfolio and project analysis, as an input for project start and prioritization decisions. I was also leading the “Continuous Improvement team” for PPM, which included conducting training in both PPM and IT support tool, to secure organizational development within in this field.

As a project manager within the global PMO of Essity I was leading various major capex intensive (up to 20M€) business projects within several product areas, in B2C as well as B2B channels. The project deliveries have been investments in new machine capacity, launch of product innovations and websites. As a project manager you where in lead of a cross functional team, consisting of expertise within all necessary competencies (e.g. R&D, Production, Sourcing, Logistics, Marketing) delivering the development of product and material specifications, marketing campaigns and technology solutions needed. The same team also executed implementation of the solutions in supply chain including purchasing of technology, installation, verification and production start-up, to secure supply of products to a successful launch in the market. The International Business Project Manager within Essity leads a cross functional team, in an international environment with a total task approach, all the way from early development to launch in the market.

Technically responsible to specify/develop, install and verify/validate the machine process solution that is required to produce the intended product. This also includes taking lead in the technical part of the sourcing process in co-operation with the sourcing department.
