This includes but is not limited to reconciling daily transactions, processing invoices, and using excel to organize UTC's financial records.I used my excellent communication skills to reach out to UTC's debtors and reduce their accounts receivable by $25,000. -Power Line Carrier Project Assistant Background : The FCC recently allowed amateur radio operators to apply for the 630 and 2200 meter bands. The FCC designated UTC to process the applications, and therefore the amateurs must apply through UTC. UTC is also responsible for notifying the utilities of amateurs applying in their areas. I collaborated with the UTC spectrum services team to help create and manage the new amateur radio notification program to prevent interference per FCC guidelines. I contacted over 4,000 amateurs to either approve, deny, or ask questions about their applications. Additionally, I was the main point of contact for the utility representatives regarding the new amateur radio program. I am proud to say I recovered 85% of the missing PLC utility representative contacts which led to recouping over $10,000 in revenue. It also raised awareness of the PLC database, the new amateur radio program, and UTC as a whole. -
