Oversee both the operational and creative design planning of events for multiple industries, including non-profit, corporate and education. Event Responsibilities• Work with clients to develop program and budget plans specific to their event and/or project.• Work with clients to create cohesive planning committees made up of influential volunteers, stakeholders, community leaders and professionals.• Coordinate all facets of meetings and special events, including venue selection, contract negotiations, entertainment procurement, production & stage management, food & beverage details, transportation and event staffing.• Provide destination management for out of town clients, including ground transportation, hotel accommodations and guest/spouse programs.• Provide initial PR management by identifying unique grassroots methods for promoting community events.• Oversee staffing needs, including volunteer recruitment, training and overall management.

Apparel Responsibilities• Manage a sponsor VIK budget of 250,000 – 350,000 for National Team and National Governing Body (NGB) office apparel• Manage the forecasting, ordering and receiving timeline of all National Team and NGB office apparel• Work with sponsors and National Team Committees on the design and receiving process for National Team competitive apparel• Oversee the proper embellishment of all items, in coordination with USOC guidelines for both competitive and non-competitive apparel• Plan and execute the apparel sizing and processing for all members of our Men’s & Women’s National TeamEvent Responsibilities• Create and maintain CAD drawings of competition venues• Maintain master event schedule and oversee in venue run of show schedule• Work with local transportation and hospitality vendors• Manage the accreditation database and process, pre event and onsite during events• Coordinate all event related shipping and storage• Ordering for the events department including, awards, apparel, A/V, supplies, signage, gifts, etc.• Interface with the building Ops staff on setup and operational details • Oversee the job responsibilities and schedules for 200-300 volunteers needed for each event
