Lindsay is a registered Architect with a decade of experience in diverse areas such as civic, multi-family, mixed-use, and Light Rail Transit projects. Her collaborative approach enables her to work effectively with large, integrated teams of engineering consultants, planners, clients, and private and public stakeholders. She has a strong track record of actively engaging in public forums, representing the project and the client to ensure their perspectives are included in the design process. Lindsay's ability to think holistically and attention to detail is reflected in her project management and coordination skills, which are fundamental to her "big picture" approach.In addition to being passionate about improving the built environment, Lindsay is committed to making a difference in her community. She is active in the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape (SAPL) at the University of Calgary as a guest lecturer and critic. She regularly participates as a visiting team member for the Canadian Architectural Certification Board (CACB) in reviewing architecture schools across Canada and sits on the governance board for the SSHRC partnership grant- Quality in Canada’s Built Environment: Roadmaps to Equity, Social Value and Sustainability. She is passionate about equity in architecture and supporting women and underrepresented groups in the profession and wider industry. In 2018, Lindsay started the Calgary chapter of Building Equality in Architecture Calgary (BEAC) to generate awareness and dialogue around inclusive practices, address barriers, and to encourage women an under-represented groups to pursue city-building professions.
