Company Well Being Nurse for Footasylum, helping to promote the physical and mental well being of employees. A qualified registered adult nurse ( part 12) with further qualifications in counselling skills level 2 and 3 using The Person Centred Approach. This allows me to assist Footasylum employees over three sites as well as being available to help the employees in retail. I am able to offer personal, friendly and professional support, guidance and signposting to relevant organisations and/or resources. As part of my role I organise and plan physical health promotion and mental health promotion. Utilising networking to invite people into the company to educate and deliver awareness sessions. The role is both challenging and exciting and I thoroughly enjoy the unique position I hold. My passion is helping people to help themselves with the support and knowledge I deliver. My background career began In Acute Surgery 1998-2004I went into community nursing in 2004-2014 I took the role as case manager for my son who has complex physical and mental health needs 2014-2018.My current role Began 2018 - present.
