Fairly early in life, I learned that everyone has a story to tell. That concept led me to participate in plays or musicals when I was younger (obviously before I could gauge my personal level of public embarrassment) and now unfolds with every project I handle in my role as a project manager with MultiVu’s broadcast division. As a project manager, I see stories develop every day – they may start as concepts or messaging from clients but they turn into National broadcast segments or interviews on TV and radio. Other client stories have started as simple ideas for a video shoot but they’ve developed into powerful cinematic pieces that visually, emotionally or artistically move an audience. As a project manager, I work with MultiVu’s clients to align for next steps – whether we distribute messaging to the public via TV, radio, blogs, or online placements, I manage the materials that are needed and the coordination of deadlines to complete the task. My attention to detail developed at Miami University where I double-majored in Journalism and Communication while playing rugby for the Miami Women’s team. I maintain that work ethic as I still enjoy writing, reading and staying active. In fact, most of year I’m training for a marathon or half marathon (as I’ve committed to running a race in each state before I turn 50) and use running as a good excuse to travel and hear other stories around the country.
