HR Generalist managing the day to day operations of the HR department, reporting in to the CEO and liaising with senior stakeholders and Partners across the business (Asset Management, Client Affairs, Operations and Support) on a daily basis. Successfully managed a range of complex Employee Relations issues such as team restructures, termination and redundancy of senior members of staff, as well as conducting grievance and disciplinary meetings in order to reach suitable conclusions. Advised management on HR best practice, legislation and regulatory requirements. Designed, implemented and/or updated Firm wide policies and procedures as required. Prepared and wrote Executive Board reports on subjects such as gender pay; and submitted proposals on new government initiatives such as Shared Parental Leave and enhanced pay.Managed the Firms annual appraisal process, ensuring managers are coached, trained and understand the importance of the process. Reviewed all completed forms identifying staff training needs and whether performance management is required. Redesigned the Firms appraisal process to create more measurable KPI's and objectives as well as encourage more active management of employee performance throughout the year.Managed the Firms annual Compensation review, leading the salary, bonus and promotions review process. Sat on the Local Remuneration Committee; provided feedback on staff performance; made recommendations and challenged decisions on salary increases and bonus allocations. Analysed all the remuneration data including benchmarking data before preparing communication letters to staff. Heavily involved in all other areas of HR including project work and recruitment at all levels, as well as on-boarding, advising on benefits and training as required.
