Taking what I’ve learned through professional experience, I help clients with branding & brand identity, graphic design, content creation, and marketing strategy.

As the creative lead, I ensure brand consistency across internal and external channels. I've worked to develop brand standards and guidelines to aid all team members and freelancers. Further developing the brand platform, I play a key role in the content and creative strategy and direction of all collateral. In addition, I oversee our creative freelance team as well as internal creative talent. ​In my role, I help to build and collaborate on large communication campaigns and contribute to evergreen content across print and digital platforms. Since joining the team, I've helped to bring our design in-house, modernize our creative, build an in-house photo and video studio, expand our capabilities, and provide a few good laughs.

Working at Trop, I led the executive team in defining the company’s values, identifying its core customer base & focusing the overall brand. In addition to collaborating on strategic initiatives, I was responsible for managing all projects and directing the creative, while producing collateral and coordinating details with vendors to meet marketing and sales goals. Though my title was marketing coordinator, I was the department head and oversaw a department intern and part-time designer. We were a small but mighty team.

I started as an intern & then continued to work in the marketing department — quickly being promoted to a graphic designer & then to marketing coordinator. I was responsible for scheduling marketing jobs, offering marketing solutions & keeping the departmental execution of projects on track & on brand. I kept the department organized & tracked all invoices/budgets. I was also responsible for design work as well as production coordinating with multiple printers & vendors. I gained experience in email marketing, social media marketing, event planning, graphic design (print & web), marketing strategy & coordination, brand awareness, copy writing & editing (design & copy).

In the retail division of Kinsey’s, I worked in the customer service department — answering customer phone calls & questions, ringing up merchandise, doing returns/exchanges, tagging merchandise, maintaining the appearance of the front of the store, doing lay-a-ways, & helping with the opening/closing of the store.
