Getting the right information to the right people, at the right time, is at the heart of my purpose. I love organizing processes, workflows, and data. My role is to untangle problems and ensure that everyone has the information and the tools to make good decisions, quickly.Folks are often puzzled to find someone with a Ph.D. in Egyptology working in the corporate private sector. But for me, it makes sense: my background taught me to think critically; to bring large, multi-faceted projects to fruition; to write to the highest standards; and to teach and mentor people of diverse backgrounds. Working as an archaeologist made me adaptable to challenging environments; working as a teacher made me resourceful and service-oriented.When I'm not working, I'm poring over mechanical watches (wearing them, reading about them, discussing them); drinking tea; and doing puzzles (the New York Times crossword is always close to hand).
