We do this by meeting with teams to create what is essentially an asset map, or a tool for identifying and visualizing existing strengths in a community.Coordinating outreach projects: this can include Explainer Video's, guides, reports, profiles, and more.

Coordinated a range projects across the California Community College system with a focus on asset mapping and tool development. My work supported faculty and staff to see and understand the barriers students face, as well as aid their collaborative efforts to re/design and implement educational systems for student access and equity. While there I mapped high school and community college (K-16) programs of study with a focus on CTE, Adult Education, and Alternative High Schools, and now co-leads CLP’s SAP Computer Science and Technology pathway from high school to career.

Supported a wide range of CLP projects, with a focus on the development of pathway mapping and the coordination of media and communications work. I assisted project leads by helping to plan, coordinate and assist with field activities, meetings, convenings, presentations, site visits and other events and provide specialized program support for the pathway mapping process. This included researching college course, certificate, and degree offerings and drafting pathway maps by aggregating and synthesizing information and using graphics software such as LucidChart to create and revise pathway maps. I demonstrated excellent organizational expertise in overseeing and mobilizing project teams with events ranging from 2 to 200 participants. As part of the media and communications team I helped plan, coordinate, and assist with the production of briefs, tools, social media campaigns, web updates, and other media activities. I also acted as a liaison between program staff and media/communications staff and coordinates with an array of consultants including graphic designers, writers, and photographers.

I provided support to team leaders in the processing and management of Postgraduate and Undergraduate Scholarships. This included:- Providing ongoing administrative support in conjunction with project based work. - Answering queries in person, via telephone and through the timely response to emails.- Assisting with updating and maintaining student records/files, photocopying, filing and production/sending of correspondence.- Ordering office supplies and ensuring that our publications were stocked and displayed appropriately.

As an Information Architect I worked for the Enterprise Collaboration Business Unit, on their new Integrated Workforce Environment (IWE) which was being designed to replace their existing intranet leveraging Cisco’s new Enterprise Collaboration Platform product. I participated in the operation of usability studies and testing, card sorts, heuristic evaluations, conducted content inventories, and helped to maintain relevant project information repositories. It was also my responsibility to maintain and update appropriate terminology and site structures.

I conducted a resource audit of MRC's existing collection, including literature, media instructional materials, journals, and a wealth of other sources and developed a coherent and usable structure of organization. Throughout this process I developed a working taxonomy and created a three-stage implementation report aimed at ensuring the smooth transition over to the new classification scheme.

I worked at the AFI as a research assistant for a nation-wide project aimed at charting the history of Australian Cinema. I assessed data about films and their placement in a continuum charting the history of Australian Cinema from 1950 onwards.

In 2008 I interned at a company in San Francisco that promotes and distributes small budget films internationally. While there I assisted the online promotions team with various projects, focusing on the development of their online presence through social media sites. This included an extensive analysis of their existing media presence followed by the expansion and development of certain facets of their organization.
