Project Coordinator

We work closely with the content experts at Chabot College and Las Positas College to explore and feature courses that are designed for a student who has one year to study full time and is looking for strong industry connections. http://www.clpccd.org/y2c/Supported the creation of the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District Educational PlansCareer Education Pathway Mapping: As a part of a collaborative team we provide a process to share and record the elements of a pathway that already exist and to identify the gaps that can then be filled through cross-collaboration. We do this by meeting with teams to create what is essentially an asset map, or a tool for identifying and visualizing existing strengths in a community.Coordinating outreach projects: this can include Explainer Video's, guides, reports, profiles, and more.
Program Associate
Coordinated a range projects across the California Community College system with a focus on asset mapping and tool development. My work supported faculty and staff to see and understand the barriers students face, as well as aid their collaborative efforts to re/design and implement educational systems for student access and equity. While there I mapped high school and community college (K-16) programs of study with a focus on CTE, Adult Education, and Alternative High Schools, and now co-leads CLP’s SAP Computer Science and Technology pathway from high school to career.
Program Coordinator
Supported a wide range of CLP projects, with a focus on the development of pathway mapping and the coordination of media and communications work. I assisted project leads by helping to plan, coordinate and assist with field activities, meetings, convenings, presentations, site visits and other events and provide specialized program support for the pathway mapping process. This included researching college course, certificate, and degree offerings and drafting pathway maps by aggregating and synthesizing information and using graphics software such as LucidChart to create and revise pathway maps. I demonstrated excellent organizational expertise in overseeing and mobilizing project teams with events ranging from 2 to 200 participants. As part of the media and communications team I helped plan, coordinate, and assist with the production of briefs, tools, social media campaigns, web updates, and other media activities. I also acted as a liaison between program staff and media/communications staff and coordinates with an array of consultants including graphic designers, writers, and photographers.
