Responsible for compiling ocean freight rates for request sent by internal/external customers. Position Duties and Responsibilities:Handle quotation requests using standard templates and maintaining MS Access /or similar database. Updating existing quotations as needed. Assist with regional RFQ’s as and when necessary. Analyze Rate/Routing options. Create and maintain rate/routing/carrier matrix. Work closely with Dept., managers and sales personnel

handle and batch into CaroTrans AP system all vendor invoicing for the Atlanta office (import and FCL/LCL export) and making sure all invoices are paid in a timely manner. Dealing not only with vendors used by all departments but also dealing directly with CaroTrans corporate accounting office.

Greater Atlanta Area

Creating bills of lading for all LCL export shipments. Dealing directly with freight forwarders/ shippers as well as overseas agents to make sure shipment arrive at desired destination and are cleared through customs smoothly.
