Lindsay's new role will focus heavily managing the strategy and consistency throughout the country, with respect to business development and client relations, but also operational aspects of the business. This role heavily involves a business development focus for the national team, supporting the geographies while also collaborating with internal contacts throughout the National and International business. As a part of the National Management Team, Lindsay will create the necessary link between the National Management Team, District Leaders and national staff. She will be a conduit between these leaders, assisting with developing, coordination, facilitation and implementation of operational processes, strategic initiatives and business development practices. Lindsay is currently working with the National Vice President and District Directors on implementing a new strategy to win compelling, market-trending work. Lindsay is also the national business development representative for Sustainability & Energy at WSP Canada.

Fielding upwards of a 100 RFPs, RFQs, and Quotes per month, Lindsay has become vital to the daily operation of acquiring new clients and projects for not only the Toronto Office, but nation wide. Digesting complex project information and capturing an accurate scope of services is why Lindsay is integral to the Proposal and Project Team at JENSEN HUGHES Canada.Lindsay prepared proposals for Building and Fire Code Consulting, Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Design, Interior Design Services of varying complexities and deliverables.Lindsay is eager to delve into other areas of Marketing for JENSEN HUGHES in an attempt to establish a Canadian Identity as its legacy companies had.

As Construction Project Coordinator Lindsay's responsibilities included identifying, writing and distributing consultant and trade scopes of work for the Tendering process and act as point of contact for any and all correspondence relating to the BID process. Upon awarding consultants and trades, Lindsay begin writing contracts and compiling schedules for each project.Phase One Development responsibilities include compiling and submitting permits, regular communication with The City and interested parties. Identify timelines and obstacles for getting these documents submitted and approved with efficiency and accuracy.Construction responsibilities include maintaining an up-to-date and accurate understanding of the daily progress on site through communication with Site Supers and Consultants (enhanced with my ability to read architectural drawings). Providing the site with up-to-date and accurate drawings, shop drawings and change orders, once approved. All Construction Admin documents and reports are organized and delegated by myself before approval and delivered to site. All project documentation is organized by myself in both hard and soft copy with various tracking systems I developed to ease the extensive workload and multitude of projects.Lindsay coordinated on seven construction sites during her tenure, the majority of which house multiple buildings and multi-use spaces. My responsibilities are expanding into the research development phase and the interior design for our premium high rise units.

Manage all digital communications between internal and external consultants. Create and distribute meeting minutes between project consultants. Compile and organize project data and scheduling.Compile, review and submit tenders and permits to the city and/or the client.Create, review, revise and edit documentation related to various phases of the project for internal and external uses.Liaison between Architect, Consultants, Design Team and the Contractor. Organizes and coordinates all documentation and communications with regards to the construction phase of the project. Figurehead and main point of contact with reference to best practices and standards for this process.
