Responsible for launching the San Diego cluster of LePort Schools, aimed at providing exceptional, authentic Montessori education to students, infant through elementary. Oversaw three campuses with 55 employees, serving 250+ students. Managed Outreach Manager and Heads of School at each campus, working closely to set and achieve enrollment goals, increase focus on key priorities, strengthen procedures, provide guidance on teacher management, engage in academic decisions, address parent concerns and engagement strategies, support outreach efforts, and make critical financial decisions. Provided training and support to campuses on all operational aspects including, financial systems, enrollment processes, prospect management, human resources, DSS compliance, campus development and facility management. Increased enrollment from 88 in January 2015 to 250 in January 2016.

• Responsible for the overall vision and development of strategies for meeting the ambitious goals of The San Diego Foundation Community Scholarship Program, which currently provides more than $2.5 million in scholarships to ~800 local students each year. • Build a sustainable program including implementing an effective online application and a multifaceted selection process to evaluate 3,000+ applicants for more than 100 unique scholarship opportunities.• Recruit and direct a highly qualified volunteer committee and engage ~50 community volunteers in the process of determining scholarship recipients.• Serve as the relationship manager for donors and fund advisors of the 160 scholarship funds, providing support and guidance in meeting individual philanthropic goals while adhering to IRS regulations.• Cultivate and solicit potential new donors in order to expand the program and increase grant making that addresses the growing needs of the community. • Oversee all management and programmatic aspects of the San Diego Teachers’ Fund.
