As the Director of Advancement at Hillside School, I lead the strategic planning and execution of all fundraising initiatives, including annual giving, major gifts, and events. With over 10 years of experience in educational fundraising and nearly 20 years in the nonprofit sector, I have a proven track record of increasing donor engagement, retention, and revenue for schools with diverse and inclusive missions.My core competencies include developing and implementing effective fundraising strategies, cultivating and stewarding strong relationships with donors, parents, and alumni, managing and mentoring a team of volunteers and staff, and writing compelling, persuasive communications. I am passionate about closing the equity gap in education and ensuring that students with dyslexia have access to specialized, individualized instruction that helps them reach their full potential.
