In my prior role with the International Lawyers Network (ILN), I partnered with the Executive Director to oversee daily operations and execute strategic initiatives that supported 90+ member law firms in 67 countries. My responsibilities included member recruitment, retention, and delivering exceptional service to a global network, while staying ahead of industry trends to ensure the ILN’s relevance in a competitive legal landscape.I focused on fostering relationships among ILN member firm lawyers, facilitating cross-border collaboration, and seeking opportunities for members to grow their business. Key contributions included:* Managing and executing marketing and business development strategies, including communications, partnerships, and member-focused initiatives.* Guiding 13 practice and industry specialty groups to establish goals, provide thought leadership, and collaborate on impactful publications and presentations.* Leading initiatives such as the ILN Women’s Initiative, mentorship programs, and RunILN to strengthen community and inclusivity within the Network.* Organizing the referral rendezvous process at ILN conferences to enhance networking and collaboration opportunities.* Coordinating new member onboarding to integrate firms seamlessly into the ILN.* Planning and delivering engaging ILN conferences, combining business programming with social events for impactful member experiences.This role allowed me to refine my skills in strategic leadership, project management, and relationship building, helping the ILN and its members achieve their goals while fostering a vibrant, globally connected legal community.

My first camera was a 1980′s Fisher Price Kodak 110 camera. I was about 5 years old when I first started taking pictures and I remember the noisy click of the yellow button, having to buy separate flashes that would smell faintly like burned plastic after using, and popping in the fabulous 110 film.I loved that camera, and today, I love my Nikon DSLR even more.
