Recruiting for the Morgan Stanley Investment Management team was an exciting opportunity to engage with highly intelligent people, both internal and external to the company. I supported two recruiters with the sourcing and screening needed to support the MSIM organization. My last four months with Morgan Stanley, I worked for the MSSB Operations team in Columbus, OH as they continued to transition the legacy Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney businesses. While I attended UT, I worked at the Student Rec Center... I began as a lifeguard and was quickly promoted to a shift manager (Crew Chief). My last 2 years with the Rec were as a student leader in the Facilities and Aquatics teams. During my MBA program, I ran the operations for the Aquatics Center and had a student staff of 40-50 people. As the Graduate Assistant, this allowed me to be the liaison between the students and the professional staff. In addition, I was a certified Lifeguard, CPR, AED and First Aid Instructor and was instrumental in running large community and collegiate swim meets held in the natatorium.
