Hi! Hi there! 👋🏽 I'm Lindsay! I'm a 38 year old Texas native with experience in several different career pathways and always looking for the opportunity to expand and grow that even further. I have currently completed my contract working as a Telehealth RN Remote COVID-19 Case Investigator and Contact Tracer for the Texas Department of State Health Services and have accepted a new position as a Remote RN Nurse Educator with Logistics Health Inc and am SO EXCITED about it! I gained a ton os skills working with DSHS -patient interviews, case management and triage and data analysis and entry that have prepared me well for this new contracted position. Eventually, I would like to find a permanent wfh position. I am a Registered Nurse of 13+ years with hospital experience in Oncology/Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplant & ICU, LTCF experience as a Director of Nursing and MDS Coordinator, Geriatrics, Alzheimers/Dementia, Case Management and Admission, Discharge, Transfers, Transitions to Hospital, Hospice, Therapy Services, Skilled Services, Prior Authorization and Utilization Review, Patient Teaching, Interviewing and Minimal Data Set Collection and Entry Input and Home Health. I also earned my Teaching Certification in 2015 and am currently the Program Director & Instructor of the Nursing/CNA Practicum and certified in grades 8-12 Health Science secondary course instruction. I have several years of customer service, communication, sales and troubleshooting/conflict resolution, cashier, drive-thru, pharmacy technician, personal assistant & secretary, front office management, service industry as hostess, waitress and bartender, scheduling for a large nursing department staff, prior authorization and Part A,B and D billing, ICD-9 coding, interdisciplinary and customer, patient, family communication, mediation and liason role experience from working at Palm Beach Tan Salon, Grapevine Drug Pharmacy,Razzoos Cajun Cafe, Sonic Drive-In, Tony Romas, Charlotte Russe and Electric Boutique. I LOVE people. I am very good at making people feel comfortable and at ease talking to me and I love learning new things! I love any position where there's an opportunity to advance and grow! I put my all into everything I do and I am interested in remote positions both in and out of my wheel house.
