Product Manager + Ux Researcher
Oakland, California, United States
At Broadly, a rapidly growing startup providing SaaS solutions to the SMB market, I held a hybrid role. As a UX Researcher, I owned the research portion of the development process and as a Product Manager, I collaborated directly with the CEO to prioritize the Product roadmap and drive initiatives across Design, Engineering and Integrations.Major Accomplishments:• Implemented Scrum practices including 2-week sprints and related ceremonies (planning, demo, retro, standup), improving team planning and execution.• Defined 3-4 success metrics for each core feature to track customer adoption, usage and perceived value, enabling the business to make data-driven decisions.• Established a “go to market” training plan and release process for new features, partnering with Marketing, Sales, Business Development and Customer Success to launch new features with unified training, messaging and positioning.• Defined the impact and severity of issues to determine their priority and effectively balance bug fixes and performance improvements with new feature development.• Developed an official “beta” stage, partnering with 5-10 engaged customers to capture early feedback and maximize usability prior to a new feature launch.• Analyzed customer feedback and needs on a quarterly basis to prioritize highly requested features, resulting in an increase of our customer retention to a total of 98%.• Created and maintained an internal library of product specifications for internal reference, cross-team training, and as a foundation for customer-facing support articles.
