Activities included working collaboratively across three local health departments and community led coalitions to develop proposal, managing and dispersing budget to partners, and tracking and reporting on activities and expenditures as per state requirements🔹 Wrote and submitted a $166,000 proposal for USDA’s Farmers Market and Local Food Promotion Program in collaboration with local partners.🔹 Worked on grant funded programs Healthy Corner Stores and Food in Communities which focused on increasing access to healthy, affordable, culturally appropriate food in Denver🔹 Collaborated with city agencies and community partners to incorporate food access recommendations into city plans/policy and inform and adopt programs that support the Denver Food Vision. 🔹 Provided marketing resources and technical assistance to 30+ small businesses and 15 community partners in increase access to healthy food for their community🔹 Conducted monitoring and evaluation of program for grant requirements and to assess program successes and areas for improvement🔹 Co-managed Health Corner Store Grant ( $660,000) from The Food Trust.
