At the New Majority Capital Foundation we address persistent wealth gaps in the US while ensuring small business owners leave a legacy and maintain jobs in their communities. We provide education and technical resources to underrepresented entrepreneurs interested in Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA) to help them to become successful business owners.

As a seasoned social impact leader, I consult with early and growth-stage social entrepreneurs and their investors. Applying more than 20 years of relevant experience, I help founders and investors to clarify their vision, purpose and values as they explore growth strategies for scaling their impact. My commitment runs deep for building a more inclusive, equitable and responsible startup ecosystem.

Company Ventures is a seed-stage Venture Capital firm with a goal of aligning good intentions with ambitious growth. I lead Company Impact, with a mission to shift the culture of tech for a more equitable and sustainable future. I support founders in our community and beyond through training and coaching to help leaders build with intention, operationalizing their values and commitment to equity and inclusion, creating governance structures for data ethics, and establishing their accountability to all stakeholders. In addition, I build fellowship programs to support underserved founders in NYC, and have developed a workforce program that ensures greater access to the tech sector for first gen CUNY college students.

Level is a powerful multiracial community of women tackling the racial wealth gap by investing in black women. Through angel investing and authentic conversations about the racial wealth gap, Level unites powerful women from various industries and backgrounds through the common goal of uplifting Black women.

I was a member of Chief, a private network built to drive more women into positions of power and keep them there. Chief is the only organization specifically designed for the most powerful women executives to strengthen their leadership, magnify their influence, and pave the way to bring others with them.

Led all aspects of NYC startup incubator supporting women and underrepresented founders. Responsibilities included: setting organizational vision and program structure, advising startup founders, revenue and fundraising strategy, budget allocation, team development, and board management. I built partnerships with tech, social and civic leaders including Google, Standard Chartered Bank and BNY Mellon, Echoing Green, Manhattan Borough President's Office and the NYCEDC, to benefit CCNY startups. At the time of my departure, our graduated startups earned/raised $32 million, filed 37 provisional patents, and hired more than 400 employees in NYC.

Launched a new Social Entrepreneurship program at the Zahn Innovation Center, incubating new ventures and galvanizing the social enterprise movement on campus.

The Center on Globalization and Sustainable Development (CGSD) at the Earth Institute advises governments to implement sustainable economic and environmental policy. Drawing from the expertise across Columbia University - climate policy, health systems, education, infrastructure, agribusiness, etc - CGSD offered cutting edge and research-based public policy programs.As Associate Director I designed systems and managed general operations, core administration and programming across dozens of active and pipeline engagements for a staff of 60 researchers with an annual operating budget of $6M.

Researched and authored white paper on social evaluation and impact assessment methods, and their practical applications in philanthropic giving.

Conducted stakeholder analysis and provided strategy recommendations for Liquidnet's leadership in this project to build an information marketplace for the social sector.

Developed proposal for Acumen's communications strategy based on deep analysis of organization’s digital communications - via extensive qualitative and quantitative research. Recommendations was applied to guide Acumen's later rebranding.
