I am a passionate impact-specialist living at the intersection of data, design and human insights. Having spent the last fifteen years helping organizations understand the ways our bias toward the quantifiable comes at the expense of people (and profits), I am passionate about helping clients mobilize their data to identify actionable opportunities in the areas of social impact, diversity, equity & inclusion, talent, performance, and transformation. I help clients adopt measurement as an essential tool for an agile organization, which means using assessment to secure 'real-time' insights that inform rapid, evidence-based responses to strategy, operations, and programming. As a mixed-methods researcher, I bring a diverse toolkit of inquiry skills to ensure a comprehensive understanding of any problem or opportunity. Equally comfortable in both the private and non-profit sectors, I have committed a considerable portion of my practice to bringing high quality social impact and evaluation support to organizations that provide essential programming to underserved and underrepresented populations.My PhD research seeks to better understand the social impacts of doing research, with the aim of disrupting research norms that undervalue the diverse ways of knowing reflected in our communities. I believe that 'quality' research is not limited to academic institutions, and that confronting the systemic barriers that shape current approaches impact evaluation will produce a more innovative, productive and impactful research landscape.
