About Lindsay Wray, Phd

Lindsay arrived in the biotech space during her academic years via her passion for biomaterials and their prospect for advancing human healing. While working in industry she got bit by the consumer applications bug developing product-market-fit for the first commercial vegan spider silk polymer.  She is now living her dream combining her biomedical PhD expertise with her insatiable desire to put innovative biomaterials on shelves where consumers can reach them.  Working as a professional nerd in the beauty and personal care space feels like a full circle journey that all started with frequent and treasured visits to the Lancome counter as a young child with her scientist mother.   You can find Lindsay's work inside places like Sephora (e.g. Vegamour's karmatin made with b-silk).
