I'm a product formulator currently working in the Skin Care organization, with past experience in Antiperspirants and Deodorants, as well as in Growthworks West. I have formulated a broad variety of beauty products, including deodorants, anti-chafe sticks, makeup removal products, waterless solid-form products, essential oil fragrance roller balls, hair serums, facial oils, skin care cream moisturizers, and skin care serums. I formulated and co-invented the first natural/ aluminum-free deodorant products sold by P&G with the Native brand and the Each & Every brand. I'm very passionate about sustainability. After graduating from Purdue with my B.S. in Chemistry (minors in Mathematics, Biological Sciences, and Statistics), I received a certificate in Green Chemistry & Chemical Stewardship from the University of Washington. I won an internal travel grant to attend the Sustainable Cosmetics Summit in Paris in November 2019, and I like to focus on ways to reduce waste in my projects while getting closer to 100% natural derivation in my formulas. In Growthworks West, I enjoyed the unique opportunity to regularly practice lean innovation at P&G while working to build small brands. I found that this kind of entrepreneurial work makes great use of my creative skills and my natural talent for strategizing. I am an independent and highly motivated worker with a vision for the future. I love the process of taking smart risks and working fast to achieve high rewards. I am very consumer-oriented and I often attend consumer research for my projects to get better in touch with the people I serve. I work cross functionally with my team members in Process, Packaging, and Products Research so we can deliver the best result as an R&D team.
