After our previous success and a 5 year break we are back. The Fall Ball 2017 is in aid of Give A Duck and Candlelighters! Two amazing childrens' cancer charities that we feel very strongly about. Despite this being stressful at time, lots of hardwork and needing lots of positivity and encouragement for the team we hope that this year will be our biggest year yet and we will smash our previous best of £15k for these worthy and incredible charities. I have been responsible for the mortgage portfolio since June 2007. With current market conditions this has been a challenging role. As the sole mortgage collections analyst, I have created a whole new suite of MI and forecasting to monitor the portfolio. With daily interaction with the operation we are continually looking to improve performance and assist our customers to help them avoid repossession.I work closely with various teams in products, risk and dialler strategy to maximise contacts and focus resource to drive our efforts and reduce bad debt.With regular requests from the governing bodies and rating agencies there are always new demands and pressures. I regularly deal with these requests and have been closely involved with the FSA Thematic Review and the recent forbearance paper issued in June.I also have close involvement with the Treasury team and am involved in the investor reporting. I provide MI, commentary, data and consultancy. As an expert in mortgages and having a detailed knowledge of the data, I am involved in many projects across many departments. I am responsible for the B&DD forecasting and planning with a keen eye on provisions and repossessions.

After attending a charity ball I decided to organise one myself and convinced a small group of friends to plan one of our own. In 4 months we planned and hosted a Ball for 240 guests in October 2005. This took great motivation, planning and enthusiasm. After this incredible success and raising over £10k we decided to do it all again in 2006 and have continued for 8 years. We learnt valuable lessons from The Fall Ball and increased both the number of guests and the amount of money raised. In 8 years we have raised over £100k. This is very stressful at times but all the hardwork, co-ordination, leadership, encouragement and positivity required is worth it to be able to help such worthy charities. This takes a great deal of determination, organising, liasing, selling, blagging and true grit.

I started as a senior risk analyst for personal loans within Consumer Finance and quickly moved to the newly created Collections Strategy Team, which covers all aspects of strategy management ranging from 1st stage arrears through to litigation and agency control. This required a thorough understanding of the operation and the necessity to work closely with operational areas.Whilst working on credit cards one of my major personal achievements was my role in the creation of the Customer Care Team – This exciting project gave me the opportunity to fully investigate and put forward a business case for action on pre-delinquent accounts. My role included liaising with external consultants, planning, analysing, developing strategies, account selection, MI, exception reporting, piloting, BAU implementation, automation, co-ordination, driving it forward and being adaptable. This proved to be a very successful pilot and all my hard work was rewarded when it was fully implemented within the business. The team was awarded the winner of the Mastercard award in October 2006 for responsible lender and the new ‘Responsible Lender’ category at the Credit Today Awards in May 2007 to recognise the hardwork, positive results and success of this team.

Progressed rapidly achieving Scoring Consultant in only 2 1/2 years. Strong analytical and problem solving skills whilst producing scoring solutions including scorecard building, scorecard monitoring and strategy design. This involves teamwork, initiative, self management and interacting with clients and other departments.Key responsibilities involved managing projects, training and assisting other team members and new recruits. This includes knowledge sharing and presentations to introduce and explain new concepts and theories. I effectively passed on my technical and life experience to motivate and encourage new recruits. Wide industry knowledge from dealing with a variety of clients in industries ranging from mortgages, personal loans, mail order and the sub prime market.Application and behavioural scoring. As a client based company I used my enthusiasm and positive attitude to build a rapport and good working relationships with both clients and other Scorexers. Analytical mind and enjoy problem solving and working out optimal solutions. I am flexible and adaptable to changing deadlines and requirements and have gained considerable experience at prioritising and planning. I face every challenge with my natural enthusiasm and dedication.
