I have experience homeschooling Preschool, Kindergarten and eighth grade Math and Science. We use lots of hands on experiments for learning Science and modeling for learning Math. I have also worked with the Saxon Math curriculum, along with Reading Rediness.

Vision therapist helping patients with visual processing and to improve the efficiency of their visual system for 13 years. Private tutor for chemistry, math and more for more than 15 years.

Approximately one in four people has a hidden visual processing deficit that can cause physical symptoms as well as impact learning, memory and behavior. Therapists can employ a quick and easy non-normed assessment to determine if a potential processing problem is present. Participants will examine assessments for 13 skills including eye movement control, eye teaming, focus shifting, auditory-visual integration, and visual memory. Through case studies and interactive demonstrations, students will experience vision problems and be challenged to determine if they can spot a problem as a client would be assessed.

I have been a Vision Therapist for more than 20 years. My patient population is very diverse in age and abilities. I have completed all my continuing education courses for VT1, 2 & 3 and I love changing lives daily!

I joined this practice to help build the Vision Therapy department. It was great to train Vision Therapist and consult with parents on the best route for their children moving forward in the classroom and everyday life.

Healthy eye allowed me to train and educate Vision Therapists, patients and their parents on how it would impact vision and learning in the classroom. I also got lots of hands on experience with the benefits technology can bring to optometric rehabilitation.
