As a server, I did what any ordinary server would do. I took food orders, turn in food order, take food/drinks to the resident, bus/reset tables. But also delivering meals to residents. As the years progressed, I took in responsibilities as a dining room manager which I fill out dinner and lunch menu sheets, update room tray charges, and to make sure servers are doing what they are supposed to be doing while working lunch/dinner shift and to sign out from me before leaving for the day . I was also responsible for closing the dining room for the night. In the past year, while some days I will serve but some days I would do prep cooking duties which would be portioning the appetizer of the day or a dessert, plating desserts and salads. When a morning cook is unable to make it in, I would cover for them and cook breakfast.

As my role as a concierge, my job was to make sure visitors and family members signed in, write receipts for residents monthly payment, filing residents paper work when they move into our faculty, and to alphabetized files. A big responsibility of mine was to answer phone calls, whether it was a resident that needed something to be fixed from, or needed to be direct to kitchen, nursing, or activates, but also future residents families to have their mother/father moved into our building, and lasting corporate office. Lastly, I made sure that the lobby/bar area is cleaned and straighten up and to set up the bar area for Happy Hour.
