Server/Cook/Dining Room Manager
CurrentAs a server, I did what any ordinary server would do. I took food orders, turn in food order, take food/drinks to the resident, bus/reset tables. But also delivering meals to residents. As the years progressed, I took in responsibilities as a dining room manager which I fill out dinner and lunch menu sheets, update room tray charges, and to make sure servers are doing what they are supposed to be doing while working lunch/dinner shift and to sign out from me before leaving for the day . I was also responsible for closing the dining room for the night. In the past year, while some days I will serve but some days I would do prep cooking duties which would be portioning the appetizer of the day or a dessert, plating desserts and salads. When a morning cook is unable to make it in, I would cover for them and cook breakfast.
