Perform thermal/fluids analysis on systems for starship/HLS programs.

In charge of developing the new member training program, a 10 week lecture series and project based learning curriculum to train 80 new members, taking them in depth through each subsystem of a rocket. Students design, manufacture and launch a high powered model rocket in teams, learn to perform design reviews, and develop safe engineering practices. Oversaw project teams to ensure successful launches of both hybrid and liquid rockets and set high level project and club goals. Assisted with industry relations. Assisted with budgeting amongst all teams and secured funding to support our ambitious goals.

Organized events geared toward children in low income schools who might not otherwise be exposed to engineering. We aim to inspire younger generations of future engineers, specifically teaching them to build, launch, and recover 3D printed model rockets.

Give incoming students and donors tours of the engineering school as well as act as student representative at engineering-related events

To give experience to new student engineers, Samueli school of engineering offers hands-on project based intro classes. I developed a lecture series and project based curriculum for 80 students, in which they were able to design low and high powered model rockets, learn safe engineering design practices, and launch their own work to prepare them for their engineering career.

My project involved upgrading a test stand which tested normalized energy during stage and booster separation events. I developed, integrated, and validated an automated fluid panel that implemented electropneumatic pressure controllers, maintained reverse compatibility and reduced acceptance test times by over 50 hrs/yr. To automate the test stand, I updated test code in python to command it to the correct pressures for functional, wear-in, and leakage tests, eliminating the need for manual pressurization and increasing safety. I also implemented fail-safe relief valves, sizing them to ensure flow rate will accommodate worst case failure modes.Additionally, I designed test tooling for the booster separation mechanisms, reducing test set-up time by 25%, completed Engineering Drawings using GD&T, and performed structural analysis to validate design.To broaden my experience with the company, I designed an optimal venting profile for hangar operations using MATLAB, basics of isentropic flow, and control volume analysis to ensure internal temperatures remained above dewpoint, preventing corrosion of vent mechanisms.

Established and tested ground architecture for nano-satellite TT&C capabilities, editing software to sort incoming data amongst ground stations.

Working as a virtual Materials and Processes Intern, my project involved analyzing various service requests and updating repair manuals to ease the repair process. This project was accompanied by various manufacturing technology and integration tasks.

Ground Control and Systems Integration preparation and testing of flight hardware for various Nano Satellite Contracts. I also gained experience in use of simulations and analysis of the Environmental Effects of Space on vehicles in ascent, radio frequency communication, and trade studies in various industrial propulsion systems.

As a former high school intern at Boeing, I obtained the role of leading new high school interns as the program expanded to various sites. My main duties involved organizing events, distributing work, and providing them input as they prepare for their college engineering experience.
