I consider myself a creative ethnographer with a strong passion for service and mentorship. Trilingual in English, Hebrew, and Palestinian-Israeli Arabic, I have used my ethnographic skills all over the world to understand and appreciate diverse people, places, products, and perspectives. My current research projects focus on Druze in Israel and the Golan Heights and tourism as a means of cultural citizenship. As an experienced university professor, with specialties in cultural anthropology and the Middle East, I am committed to innovative and radical expressions of knowledge productions. I have an extensive history of working in higher education, service-learning, and experiential teaching and course design.In the non-profit industry, I am a strategic and dynamic leader with extensive experience in youth program development, civic engagement, and nonprofit management. I have expertise in designing and implementing innovative teen engagement strategies that foster community impact, personal growth, and inclusivity. My most exhilarating work is when I am building cross-functional collaborations, managing large-scale programs, and driving results in alignment with organizational mission and goals.
