Function as a provider in a multi-specialty and growing surgical practice in which duties include all aspects of patient care in the clinical, hospital and operating room settings.Function as first assist in the OR which includes patient positioning, draping, exposure/retraction, incision closure, dressing and splint application.Assist multiple physicians in clinic and run PA clinic weekly.Responsibilities include: obtaining history and performing physical examinations, interpret radiographs, MRIs, and laboratory studies, develop and initiate treatment plans, provide intra-articular, tendon sheath, bursal injections, counsel patients and provide pre-operative consultations, dictate and chart patient visits.Practice specialties include general orthopaedics, high volume dedicated to total joint replacements, dedicated upper extremity/ hand specialty, sports medicine and spine.Practice is credentialed at 5 local hospitals and two ambulatory surgery centers associated with the practice.
