I currently serve as an Admissions Support Representative with SANS Technology Institute. Before starting with SANS, I was the Student Affairs Coordinator for Des Moines University (DMU) in Des Moines, Iowa. Before that, I was a Graduate Research Assistant at Iowa State University (ISU) in both the Education and Engineering departments. Between my multiple offices, during grad school, and now at SANS, I have gained experience in; Advising students on the admissions process, onboarding students, advising them, supporting groups and clubs on their extracurricular activities, event planning, marketing, sales, fundraising, public speaking, data collection and organization, the background check and drug screen processes, designing web pages, posters and other advertising, maintaining and supporting Engage (our student engagement platform), advising in a live-in capacity, maintaining a Chapter facility as the House Director, Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft programs. I am also a Certified Professional Coach in Career and Education Coaching. I completed this certification with International Coaching Academy in the Summer of 2021. I earned a Masters of Education, Student Affairs from ISU in 2017 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management from ISU in 2013.
