I am a highly motivated educational professional with eight years of classroom teaching experience, and I'm seeking opportunities beyond the classroom. 8 years and am ready to take my skills and strengths to the next level. I'm a driven, organized individual with a talent for building relationships. I've worked with students from all cognitive ability ranges in grades 2-8 and am passionate about the integration of technology and education. As a classroom teacher, my daily routine includes creating and presenting lessons that will engage and foster learning among my students. As a special education teacher, I am responsible for maintaining case files for all of my students and meeting legal deadlines. I am technologically fluent and use a variety of delivery methods in the classroom to meet the needs of my visual, kinesthetic, and auditory learners. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I taught in a fully virtual setting for over a year. Throughout this time, I used Google Apps and Zoom on a daily basis to deliver instruction. I am very adaptable and pick up new concepts quickly. I founded and facilitate a PRIDE club at my current middle school for LGBTQ+ students and allies. My leadership skills extend to athletics.
