Small Business Client Manager (Relationship Manager) is responsible for retaining a business banking portfolio, expanding relationships and generating additional revenue from existing clients within the franchise/program space. The role is responsible for managing a client portfolio comprised of treasury management and complex credit packages (SBA Express, SBA 7a, SBA 504 or Conventional Term, and Conventional Line of Credit) to ensure sales, revenue, and retention goals are met. This role analyzes the client's financial and operating strategies and recommends alternative or additional financial services to best meet the client's immediate and longer-term personal and business needs. This is an inside sales position that works closely with the Programs Regional Business Development Officer (RBDO) while being accountable for the sales execution of the Small Business Lending Programs. Once new business relationships have been identified and established by the RBDO, the RM designs and implements appropriate sales programs for the client, collects and prepares the financial package for submissions to the underwriting team for approval and closes the loans. This role requires strong partnerships and working relationships with partners such as the RBDO to deliver complex solutions to existing clients and or prospects, but also the ability to manage a client portfolio.

Centralized Small Business Banker is a consultative sales position. It supports the acquisition and growth of small business clients to understand the client’s banking and cash flow needs. This role takes inbound sales calls as well as remote video sales calls for new account applications to include business checking, lending, credit cards, auto loans, online banking, debit as well as other small business products; plus, cross sales such as treasury services, merchant services referrals, and other business loan opportunities.
