Oversees current early-stage programs, as well as develop and implement new programs for participants with MCI and early-stage dementia and their care partners.

Provides support for early stage programs, caregiver training, support groups, staff education and training. Facilitates the SHARE program, family consultations, and community outreach. Facilitates a variety of promotional and caregiver training speaking opportunities.

•Oversee all key programs and services in Washington DC and Montgomery County, MD, identify community needs for majority diverse population of approximately 1.7 million, and responsible for meeting program-related goals and deliverables for region•Led a team to implement the first social engagement programs (“Memory Cafes”) in Montgomery County, MD•Established new satellite office in Montgomery County, MD in 2015•Develop and leverage community partnerships to expand programs and services, including diversity outreach and physician outreach•Schedule, develop and present community education workshops and professional trainings •Establish and oversee support groups for caregivers; lead training for volunteers•Participate in development and implementation of grants and other opportunities to secure external funding

Design and manage activity program in skilled nursing and boarding care, including short-term care, long-term care, and memory care. Member of healthcare interdisciplinary team, care plan team, and leadership team. Supervise Wellness Programs (activity) staff, including training, scheduling, evaluating, and supporting staff.Manage volunteer program, including recruiting, training, and placing volunteers. Certified as a Best Friends Approach to Dementia Care Master Trainer. Activity Director Certified with Memory Care specialization.
