I am a current freshman at Clemson University, majoring in Psychology. I recently graduated from Charlotte Mecklenburg Virtual School where I held a 4.2 GPA. Through the CPCC Career Promise Program, I was enrolled in both the Business Administration: Marketing and College Transfer Pathway Programs.My career began through the Mayor's Youth Employment Program, where I was given the opportunity to work as a Youth Counselor intern with Hope with Harvest, which I have returned to! Targeting children and other groups in need of assistance helped me to practice community outreach and develop my interpersonal skills in this position. I worked with the City of Charlotte's Community Engagement Division during my second year in the program. I was able to develop my communication and GIS abilities as well as learn useful knowledge about the administration of my city thanks to this experience. I also was given the chance to serve in the position of an Ambassador, promoting the program and the good it has done for youth. I wish to work in the areas of communications, psychology, environmental sciences, and community engagement in the future. I'll be seeking a doctorate degree in psychology in order to achieve these goals.
