Teacher to kids between ages 6-18 in the areas of beginning-advanced drama, musical theater, improv, scene study and readers theater. Classes may include creating lesson plans, adapting or writing original showcase script. Have also taught special needs students through NISRA partnership.Directed over 25 full-length productions. Most involve 100+ kids ranging in ages 8-18. Responsible for the vision of the show, overseeing schedule/rehearsals, working with the cast and creative team, as well as working alongside parent volunteers. Camp Counselor for summer and spring break camps (2004-10), which involved working with kids, ages 5-12. Provided instruction in musical theater or drama, as well as assisted with devotions, games, rehearsals and performances. Also have directed several years of overnight camp, which involved a longer showcase production as well as additional ministry

Moody Bible Institute

Teacher of classes for undergraduate students. Classes include both lecture and participation components and students work towards both practical knowledge and a ministry based perspective. Classes include Drama in Ministry, Speech Communication, Music Drama Worship, Speech & Drama Practicum. Director annual productions including a fall One Act (2012-13) and a full-length spring play. Organize and execute all rehearsals. Oversee all production elements including set design, tech, costumes, and publicity as well as supervising student crew participants. Director annual “Candlelight Carols” dramatic portion with approximately 10,000 in attendance. Faculty advisor to three student led groups including a youth ministry drama troupe, improv team, and student leadership team. (2013-14)

Our goal as a kids ministry is to partner with parents. TGA (The Great Adventure) holds 3 services per weekend. I manage volunteer teams and ministry operations for ages PreK and under. Average total ministry attendance is 500 kids per weekend. We strive to provide an excellent kids ministry experience. Responsibilities include volunteer recruitment, training, leadership development, discipleship, ministry scheduling and management.As a church we use David C. Cook's Tru curriculum. Partnership to host Spring Hill Camps annually.

Wrote, developed and implemented various curriculums and scripts including collaboration on a class catalog and benchmark system.

Traveled to churches and conducted presentations on World Vision’s work to gain child sponsors. Networked with pastors and youth leaders to secure participation in the 30 Hour Famine or One Life program. Organized the Chicago-wide 30 Hour Famine event with over 25 youth groups in attendance.Helped with planning and executing major events such as hosting the traveling AIDS exhibit, World Vision’s booth at the Chicago Marathon and Banquet at Willow Creek Leadership Summit.
