I lead our IT Applications team and focus on delivering business value through technology solutions. My team's scope includes implementation, support, enhancement, and standardization of our various ERPs, expansion of our Salesforce capabilities, and implementation of other key applications to drive value and efficiency across our company. I lead project execution and ensure my team is delivering on our short-term wins while building our roadmap and thinking strategically for the long-term.

As the Senior Manager of our Technology Strategy and Development team in Canada, I led all non-commercial technology project delivery efforts and collaborated with our business partners to enable the business with technology solutions.

I owned and managed all projects, communications, and stakeholder engagement for the OnePortal application. This included direct interaction with our region logistics teams, 600+ independent and wholly-owned wholesalers, corporate logistics teams, and Solutions (IT) stakeholders. This also included day-to-day project management duties for the individual projects that were in progress under the OnePortal umbrella.

As a project manager in the Logistics Technology Development portfolio, I managed multiple vendor teams with resources on and offshore to develop the foundations of OnePortal - an application built on Salesforce that provides all AB wholesalers in the US access to forecast sales to retailers, as well as see their inventories and a catalog of all ABI products.

As part of the Technology Trainee Program, I participated in two rotations within the AB Solutions organization, working on different business critical projects in each rotation. In my first rotation, I worked with the Demand and Delivery team, where I was the project manager in charge of all testing for Mobility360, an application that will be used by thousands of sales people across North America. This role included creating test plans, managing testing resources and processes, providing status reports on defects, and delivering versions of the application to our stakeholders that were free of major bugs. In my second rotation, I worked to provide our e-Commerce team with a product information management solution in order to streamline their process for providing e-retailers with the necessary product attributes to display in their online stores. I also planned and coordinated the technology immersion area at our yearly sales and marketing conference, SAMCOM, and coordinated with our tech sales team, as well as our event vendor, to make our area at the conference a reality.

I managed all the undergraduate and graduate student assistants who worked at LITE and was responsible for scheduling demos, guest speakers, and lab reservations. I lead demonstrations of lab equipment such as the Tobii eye tracking machine, EEG, Oculus Rift, and Q sensor. I conducted research into reason support systems and how design affects their ability to assist people in decision-making activities. I also worked on research into barrier usage while using eye-tracking computers to complete usability testing, as well as assisted with research for professors and worked on user experience and usability research projects being conducted at our lab.

I performed usability testing on the tools my team developed and made suggestions based on my testing. The usability suggestions I made to my team have been incorporated into the newest release of the tool. I evaluated source code repository tools and managed the migration from our old, outdated tool to the repository I decided on and got manager approval for. I collaborated with our migration liaison and mentor as our team's lead focal on the project. I researched and evaluated alternatives to an incumbent software service and created a questionnaire that was sent out to suppliers as a Request for Information. I also imaged and configured secure laptops for use on secure internal networks.

I completed an eye-tracking study with hopes to increase validity and reliability of eye-tracking data.

As a Customer Insights Intern, I had the opportunity to gain experience and develop my skills in a broad range of areas including usability testing, graphic design, user acceptance testing, market and industry research, micro-polling, survey development, and change management.

I helped students with papers they brought in. I assisted with everything from papers for classes to resumes to grad school personal statements.

I graded papers and lead help sessions for students that needed help with assignments.
