Complex doesn't have to mean confusing. Or boring. I create clean long-form content that's clear and (dare I say?) fun to read.My specialties are managing editorial projects with many moving parts and content marketing, especially long-form writing. Often, this means I translate technical subject matter (be it medical devices/medtech, financial services, or particle physics) for audiences who are educated but not experts.With an emphasis on readability and plain language, value doesn't get lost between jargon and run-on sentences.Basically, I like to give communications directors the chance to take vacations without checking their email and marketing managers the relief of knowing they can send content straight to design. My poetry collection Rodeo in Reverse is a New Southern Voices Poetry Prize winner. I speak to writing groups, book clubs, and university students about poetry and writing.I also write about the artistic process and favorite artists, offer writing prompts, and facilitate creative writing groups.
