Develop and implement effective communication plans that align with the district's goals and objectives. Create and manage content for various platforms, including the district website, social media, newsletters, and press releases. Serve as the primary contact for media inquiries. Served as lead planner and producer of District's first-ever Changemakers Event hosting activist Dolores Huerta to speak to students, staff, and families.

Establish and maintain professional relationships with internal/external constituents and collaborate closely with teams on large projects. Follow best practices and stay current on developing communication and marketing trends. Oversee the implementation of related strategies across multiple platforms that effectively articulate district priorities and initiatives, build strong community relations, and increase visibility and impact. Lead the creative development and implementation of the District's new website (using Finalsite) in order to achieve ADA compliance and better translation services.

Showed expertise in delivering content through various mediums, including text, audio, images, animation, video and interactive elements. Played a pivotal role in supporting project execution by providing guidance and support for team members and administration. Served as communication advisor in implementation of COVID-19 related guidance and changes, as this was our district's first year fully returned from the pandemic shutdown. Played a key role in promoting and building membership within our Bilingual Parent Advisory group. Started the district's first-ever "Inside MSD15" podcast.

Executed vision for daily hourlong newscast under tight deadlines. Wrote scripts, created on-air graphics, pitched local story ideas and gathered news of the day. Stayed on top of continuous breaking news coverage through major worldwide events including the COVID-19 pandemic, protests for social justice & the 2020 election.

Single-handedly write and produce fresh content for Green Bay’s #1 10pm Newscast. Organize and manage a small team of reporters and photojournalists daily. Planned long-term coverage for the Spring Election of 2015.

Developed and researched local stories while monitoring phones, wires, email, radio and Twitter. Assisted reporters and photographers by field producing and performing on-camera interviews for spot news. Worked closely with producers, floor managers and anchors to organize and deliver scripts.

Wrote scripts and edited video to air during daily NBC 5 Chicago News HealthWatch segments. Researched each day's health related studies published in various medical journals and pitched story ideas to producers. Helped gain reporter Nesita Kwan 80 Twitter followers through creative social media outreach.

Planned shoots with the offices of Governor Pat Quinn and Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky. Generated story ideas addressing disability related issues in the Chicagoland area. Assisted reporter Karen Meyer and photographers on location.
