Hi, I'm Lindsey, owner and CEO at Jetset World Travel, a modern travel agency dedicated to service, innovation and gratitude. My decade-long journey in the world of business started as a one-person operation built by attending bridal shows alongside my college courses that we have now transformed into a company of 80 mission-driven team members. That transformation didn’t come easily, though. In 2020, at five months pregnant, I led my little-travel-agency-that-could, known at the time as Epperly Travel, through the industry’s most catastrophic crisis. Thanks to our dedication to serve as a beacon of hope, this agency has grown tremendously, both through organic reach and in the form of our acquisition of Jetset World Travel in 2021. I call this season of life "the MBA I never wanted." It taught me resilience, the power of casting vision, and the impact that one community can have upon an entire industry. The moves we made during the pandemic catapulted the agency’s momentum, eventually leading to a quadrupling of volume and landing us at number 1,144 on the 2023 Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing privately held companies. The Jetset acquisition in particular sent an impactful message on the health of female-founded boutique agencies, prior to which were often lost in a sea of only mega-agency consolidation.My passion for entrepreneurship, as well as an unabashed outspokenness on battling burnout and imposter syndrome, have led to ranking on the 2021 Forbes Next 1000, speaking at events like Virtuoso’s Ready, Reset, Go, which launched to a virtual audience of over 6,000, and working on my latest project, the Who Made You The Boss? Podcast. I'm currently studying under New York Times bestselling author Bob Goff to produce a book about turning obstacles into opportunities. My first draft of this won a Best Manuscript Sample award at the Atlanta Writers Conference.When I'm not working from my local coffee shop, you can find me in the kitchen tackling an overly ambitious Beef Wellington recipe, or spending time with my husband (also my business partner!), Jeremy, and our two girls, Mila and Margot, playing outside on one of the nature trails in the charming wellness community outside of Atlanta where we live.
