Fantastic communication skills coupled with a friendly disposition.Adaptability to work either as part of a team, or autonomously.Strive for the very best outcome at all times.Always eager to learn new skills and alternate processes.Ability to work under pressure to meet all degrees of deadlines.Love to have a good laugh.EXPERIENCED IN:- Meet with client to establish needs, budget and expectations- Take a design brief and all relevant technical information at the site visit- Determine the appropriate course of work required for the space(s)- Prepare preliminary sketches and space planning to find the perfect layout- Create mood boards, including pictures and samples of materials- Research, source and price up recommendations that fit the budget and brief- Present mood boards, floor plan, visuals and recommendations to the client- Support client with the decision making process- Create timeline, project manage and keep track of progress- Appoint trades and suppliers to carry out work needed- Make regular site visits for progress and quality checks- Address any problems that arise and solve with appropriate solutions- Ability to assist trades with work if needed- Deliver completed design project to client- Remedy any concerns should any arise- Keep abreast of new, seasonal and annual trends and industry developments
