And the world’s hunger for change is insatiable! I feel a deep gladness in my heart when I improve the lives of my community locally and globally; this is my professional goal, my calling.Even as a kid, I was drawn to the special needs community. In high school I led the adult disabilities class in worship songs each Sunday. I found fulfillment when I worked at a therapeutic horse barn for people with disabilities of all ages. My passion for this community led to a degree in Psychology. My educational and professional experiences led to incredible jobs, including teaching and job coaching high school students and young adults with disabilities. The world is hungry for change, and I am prepared and eager to facilitate that change.Meaningful change, locally or globally, does not happen overnight and not without considerable effort. My experience has led to valuable skills that today’s world needs, such as teaching, task analysis, community engagement, project & office management, and identifying & solving problems. My passion drives me, and my ability to organize, motivate, and teach gets the job done – and then some!My personal life and my professional life have always been driven by one goal: improving my community.
