CurrentRESOURCE DEVELOPMENT• Manage grants totaling almost $10M, including Race to the Top, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement, and various other grants to bring innovative opportunities to the students at Drew Charter School• Ensure grant program implementation aligns with school’s strategic plan and contributes to student growth and positive academic outcomes• Convene grant administrators/partner organizations for regular updates; submit reports as required; maintain accurate records for grant expenditures and invoicing• Collaborate with evaluators to establish methods and metrics PROGRAM MANAGEMENT• Collaborate with school staff and organizations to offer programming to students that supports classroom learning, increases impact through hands-on, relevant strategies, and continues to close the opportunity gap that exists between students and families from different backgrounds• Created, branded, and continue to lead the “Healthy You, Healthy Drew” initiative which serves as the school wellness councilPARTNERSHIP MANAGEMENT/LEADERSHIP• Serve as liaison to the East Lake Foundation, TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola, and community partners• Supervise FT and PT staff, including 30+ instructors and 20+ vendors to develop and implement a large After School Programs, serving 450+ students annually• Develop and manage relationships with Drew’s strategic partners to ensure partnerships and related programming contribute to positive student outcomesCOMMUNITY OUTREACH• Contribute to the development of a collaborative work environment through active participation in various leadership groups/committees • Collaborate with the East Lake community partners in early education initiatives, community health partners, and mixed-income housing to enhance the holistic support system in place for Drew students and families• Recruit and support volunteers for Drew to support programming and student success
