Accountable to the operational performance of the Collins Environmental Control systems supporting Boeing 787, 777, and legacy platforms. I work across multiple manufacturing sites producing all products to support OE and Aftermarket customer demand needs. I lead a team of operations leads responsible to communicate the customer on delivery schedules, rate readiness activities, and demand alignment activities. I work to support new development and retrofit programs, by ensuring operations readiness actions are completed, and risks/opportunities are identified and closed. I work closely with the Value Stream Leaders to ensure alignment on customer communications and Operations strategy.

Responsible for Material Planning, Production Control, Shipping, Receiving, Production Kitting, Inventory Management and SIOP processes supporting the Air Management Systems portfolio of the EACS in Windsor Locks. I am responsible for over 40 hourly and salary employees, with 7 direct reports.

UTAS is responsible for over 20 different systems on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, resulting in about 700 unique assemblies per airplane. I am currently focused on the 787-8, as it is currently in service, but have started to take 787-9 responsibilities as it enters into service later this year. I am responsible to drive operational excellence across all UTAS business units and manufacturing sites that support the Boeing 787 Program. I work to implement standard processes and procedures across the business and work with the customer to ensure strong communication and understand their true needs and expectations. I support each business unit and manufacturing site as necessary to ensure 100% on-time delivery and perfect quality product to the customer.

I was a commodity buyer for moderate to complex machined parts. I was responsible for managing six suppliers whom varied in location from CT to South Korea. I placed purchase orders, negotiated long term pricing agreements, managed part source transitions, and focused on managing overall supplier performance to ensure we received on-time delivery and perfect quality parts.

Processed and distributed daily and weekly backorder reports for a variety of different products. I was responsible for tracking programming events of the building staff and monitoring the staff budget. I also acted as a resource and leader to the other thirteen Resident Assistants on staff. I enforced University policies in the Residence halls and planned programs and activities for the residents during the year. I was ultimately a resource and campus guide to the students in my Residence Hall.
