Publications Services Manager
Current– Promoted from Technical Editor.– Acts as primary contact for Publications Services and manages/coordinates team workload. – Oversees the creation of high-quality technical publications that showcase the firm's expertise and capabilities.– Creates content that demonstrates thought leadership and positions the firm as an industry expert.– Provides editorial guidance, training, and mentoring to improve technical writing skills across the organization.– Develops processes for capturing and disseminating knowledge and best practices across the organization.– Develops and implements technical publications standards, style guide, and best practices, including extensive Publications Services knowledge base on intranet.– Implements quality control procedures for technical publications to ensure publications meet client and industry standards and regulatory requirements.– Optimizes publication workflows and processes for efficiency, including implementing and managing document control systems and tools, including developing a ticketing form for Publications Services requests to streamline workload planning/scheduling.– Coordinates with other departments and external vendors as needed.– Member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Program Team.– Member of the Innovation and Technology Committee to develop a company-wide AI program; presents AI training/info sessions.– Writes intranet and website blog posts on technology and document accessibility/inclusivity.– Writes/reviews business cases and team forecasting.See additional duties and skills listed under Technical Editor.
