As the practice manager, I oversee 11 employees and 4 providers. I am in charge of payroll, credentialing, employee/provider scheduling, supply ordering, fixing technical issues/computer software updates, and all other decisions to keep the practice running smoothly. I have also created and continue to maintain the company website and the facebook page.

As a Billing Specialist at Alamo Heights Pediatrics, I would code claims and bill them to patients' insurance and keep the providers up to date with ongoing changes in billing. I would handle individual claims between patients and insurance, take care of patient accounts, input all payments, and correct necessary claims. During my time as the only billing and coding specialist in the office, I was responsible for ensuring the front desk, nurses and providers were up to date with the ongoing changes of the medical field.

Supervised employees, managed the office, completed filing, and paperwork, responsible for booking appointments, created marketing materials and created the company website. I also maintained the health and happiness of all the clients and kept close communication between families, doctors, and other caregivers.

I worked with Barton Logistics during the summers while in high school (April-Aug 2011 & 2012) answering phone calls, doing computer work, and filing paperwork. At the time BL was a freight dispatch company. We would communicate with drivers regarding their ETA, pickup and drop off locations, inform customers of delays, and much more.
