I formulated and analyzed digital content for local business clients.

I assigned, edited, collected and wrote online feature stories while managing a team of frequent bloggers. I managed digital content proliferation while also taking part in print article writing and editing. I reported on the success of our digital efforts.

As the primary digital voice of five different brands in several markets throughout the U.S., I produced and drove a digital content calendar that included posting to social media, writing blogs, writing e-newsletters, and creating online advertising and promotional campaigns. My goals were driving conversions in the form of calls to our locations, driving traffic to our websites, increasing engagement with our social media pages, and accomplishing all of this within the framework of sharing pertinent information with our audiences and keeping our brand voices trustworthy and cohesive.

I oversaw Ogden's digital content projects to ensure each of its magazine titles' websites and digital products provided a seamless, unique reader experience. My responsibilities were divided between managing and advising a team of web editors, communicating SEO best practices to all brands under the Ogden umbrella, digital product development and idea generation, and assistance with task organization within and communication between its technical and content-oriented departments.

I managed Ogden's Web Services Team and oversaw the online content proliferation efforts of all titles under Ogden's umbrella. My other key responsibilities included analyzing the success of our online efforts, making recommendations for a stronger Web presence, company-wide SEO education and assistance with implementation of new content management systems for Web and app development.

I managed Ogden Publications' Web Services Team. The Team's key responsibilities include content proliferation on the web, SEO, newsletter building and online trend watching. As the Team's manager, I oversaw all responsibilities while creating schedules, communicating with editorial teams, reporting on web traffic and making recommendations for improved online visibility of our online content.

Each article from Mother Earth News' over 50 years of circulation is online. My job was to go back through archived articles and update them, making them editorially flawless and highly searchable using Ektron's CMS, Google AdWords and SEO strategies.

As a reporter on the "manual" beat, I wrote department stories that answered how-to questions on a deadline. Article topics included responsible pet adoption, applying to graduate school, effectively using new technology, brewing coffee and more.

I worked with the editorial staff to copy edit and fact check articles for print. I wrote several blogs for MotherEarthNews.com on the environment, community, event planning and consumer products, and two of my blogs were turned into print articles. I updated archived articles for the web using SEO, Google AdWords and Ektron's CMS, and I analyzed the cost of different stock-photo companies to make money-saving recommendations to the editor in chief.

I worked closely with the outreach director to effectively publicize the new program and brainstorm story ideas. I conducted interviews with members of the program, including biologists and botanists, and wrote feature articles for the web about the program and its purpose.

As an intern, I worked closely with the editor in chief to research story ideas and copy edit incoming articles. I found contact information for publicists and managers of national music acts, and helped secure interviews. As a writer, I interviewed musicians and music groups and composed stories for print.
