Some would argue that CRM is the heart of the product - I get to work on the portion of our platform that lets our customers create and manage contacts, send one-to-one connected emails, and manage their business processes.

As a member of the Site Team, I work cross-functionally with the other engineers on my team and many other teams to bring pages to life on activecampaign.com. We work with designers, product marketers, content writers, site reliability engineers, internal services engineers and devops engineers. The site team is in the unique position of both serving marketing and operating as a full-fledged engineering team, owning our tooling from top to bottom. Our team also serves as front end support for our help site and community forum.

• Developed searspatternlibrary.com (WordPress). The site served as a living document of design patterns for creating a consistent user experience across Kmart and Sears desktop and mobile• Worked in a cross-functional team to research, develop, implement, and document ADA-compliant components in a new design system• Developed dynamic ad pages and weekly banners for Kenmore/Craftsman/Diehard• Frequently volunteered as a test subject for the UX Research team in the pilot phase of their test designs, learning first-hand about the process of qualitative market research• Assisted in a day of off-site research with a senior UX researcher, taking notes during several interviews at an in-store ethnography
